Is the LM radical the best value in frames today at $70 new? How does this frame play in mp vs os? Can I go wrong trying it?

You can't go wrong. It has very nice feel and control. Budget a few more dollars to stick a leather grip and some lead tape on it to make it a bit more stable, and you've got about as good a racket as there is, at any price... Oh, and replace the factory strings if yours comes that way.

It's a good all-around racquet, a little on the light side for me but once I customized it to my liking it plays like a beast. You can't go wrong. I think the MP has more control than the OS, I use the MP. And do what Brent Pederson said, replace the factory strings if you get them unless you are a beginner and can't tell the difference.

Just get it because it's dirt cheap at that price, it's a "control" racq so you have to add the juice. Get two if you play tournies. It's a little light as people have said so you have to add lead. It's a fairly honest simple frame with a rolled beam and straightforwardly tight 18 x 20 stringbed. Lots of touch and control and no unwanted surprises.

Or you might take a look at Dunlop Aerogel 300 or 200. They are also very fine racquets at very affordable price.
