Cortex System

I have the pure drive with cortex and i was wondering if it is necessary to use some sort of damper. im not real worried about my arm but i dont want any damage to it and sometimes it hurts. would a damper help that?

I'm afraid not, just stay away from full poly strung too high. Probably use of soft strings would greatly help too.

Edit: \/ \/ \/ Viva is right, all it does is make a "pop" sound instead of a "ting" sound, which I can't stand.

all a dampener does is cut out the sound so it makes no diffrence
