I had a pair of filas that I used for tennis. They had good cushioning in my toes and at the same time they weighed nothing. They were amazing. Anyway, I noticed that it would not take long for me to burn through them but I would only develop holes in the tips. What I ended up doing was buying shoe goo and adding it to the tips of the new ones I bought. once you learn how to apply it correctly and evenly it can probably add a few weeks to the life of your shoe. You can apply it ass long as you have not burnt a total hole in the shoe because it needs something to stick to. The only thing you should be careful about is not too breath in the fumes. If you wanted to you could reapply everytime the layer ***** down and probably use your shoes for over a year.

Thank you for your help. When I apply it can I go out and practice 10 minutes later or do I need to let it set for awhile and if so how long?

I would wait overnight or at least a few hours. The way I would do it was I would apply the goo at night then let it sit in a well ventilated area overnight and then I could use it the next day.

Is there something I can put around my shoe that will halt the hole from getting bigger? Like wrap tape around it for a day then apply the shoe goo at night?

you'll look pretty poor, but you could use duct tape.

No I'll just use tan tape, it's kinds wierd that I am to lazy to ship shoes to a company so I can get a new pair...
