I'm going to be in Orlando the next 5 days, and was hoping to find someone to hit with. I'm a 4.0, and would like to get in a little exercise.

Additionally, if anyone has info on any club or pros for an hour lesson or the like, that might work too, if I can't find a hitting partner.

Thanks in advance!

Dates are July 22-25.

Thanks, I saw that thread right after I posted and tried to contact Phil.

Mikeler - I don't know anything about Orlando, but I'll be at the Marriott Grande Lakes.

My suggestion would be to take a lesson at Lake Cane. I'm not sure where you are coming from but the heat is brutal this time of year so schedule your tennis accordingly. Every afternoon and evening you have a chance of getting rained out.

Thanks, and if I don't find anybody, I'll definitely do that. I'm in NYC, I know it's hotter and more humid in Olrando, but we get our share of tough weather. I'm ready to play in 90-95 degree heat - then retire to the hotel pool and bar - should be fine!

Just be careful. The temps may be close, but the sun is much more intense here. Have fun and enjoy your stay.

Thanks for the advice - I was in Puerto Rico and was amazed at how hard it was to play an hour of tennis in temps that were upper 80s - even golf was tiring! So no chance I can get you to beat up on me for an hour while I'm there?

Check out the link above. Power Player or Bad_Call may be up for it. My tennis time is very limited these days with a 6 month old at home, so I pretty much have 2 or 3 regular matches scheduled each week and that is it for me.

Any luck??
If you want you can always come over to Daytona Beach, only about an hour away.
I'm off tomorrow from work.
I'm a 3.5 but I can give you a good work out.
lol

You guys could always meet in Altamonte and play at Sanlando which would be about halfway in between.

Appreciate the offer - but I took Mikeler's advice and did a couple of hours at Lake Cane - nice facility, far better than any public facility I've seen in the NYC area! And I'm playing with Nextman916 tomorrow - and that'll probably be it before I leave on Sunday.

Thanks for the advice, etc. everyone!

Cool, glad you are enjoying your tennis time while in O-town. We are lucky to have quite a few nice facilities here.
