Well hobbits live much longer than men, so I really couldn't tell you which posts you would truly consider OLD. Consult another hobbit for further explanation.

Well, the little paper icon on the new ones is of a different color...

One CANNOT tell which threads are old, and which are new.

That's one of the more significant problems with this new board.

I agree, an option to be able to sort the threads by date instead of most recent message is ESSENTIAL. Sysop please look to add this option]

It can be done... There's a hack that would change the way threads are sorted...I've seen it implemented elsewhere.

That said, I prefer the new way of ordering threads. Threads that receive the most play or have the most recent response SHOULD be at the top since they have the most recent content.

I agree with Duece and Topspin, I still haven't figured what is new and what is old. Plus if i want to follow a post and check back each day or later during the day, the post is always in a diiferent position or order which makes it hard to find.

I find the feature useful because it doesn't get left behind if someone sees it later and has something to add. Just don't read it if you want it dead.

We have added the ability to sort posts by either last reply (the default) or creation date. Go to your profile and look for "Sort topics by last post".
