View Full Version : Is Mario Ancic's Yonex RD Ti-80 standard length?

It looks longer than standard. Obviously, they would customize it to whatever length he wants (like Nalbandian). Anyone in the know? Thomas Martinez?

I'd be surprised if Ancic's Ti-80 wasn't customized by himself or Yonex. The hoop definitely needs more mass, and I needed to add 9 grams in the hoop to get it to have the type of stability and cushioning of an RDX500 or MP Tour 1.
The advantage of the Ti-80 is that the thin beam and cross-section allow for very good maneuverability and very fast racket speed, good for shots on the run, serve, and volleying. The only slight weakness is very hard shots hits at you.
