Wanted to know what are the restrictions for non-media people (just regular spectator) with regards to bringing in a camera (not point and shoot type).

Im planning to take my usual set-up dslr with 30-70mm and 200-400mm lens. Brought those to pacilifc life and sony ericson this year without any problems.

thanks for any info.

During the last two years, I brought a 70-200mm zoom and saw others with similar lenses, but there are signs up prohibiting use of zoom lenses.

I'm not sure of the size of a 200-400, but you might be crossing the line.

Didn't see any, but wasn't really looking.

i have seen tons of mono and tripods during the pacific life and sony ericson this yr but only from people who had media passes. i didnt see many regular spectators with mono or tripods though. i personally didnt use them because of risk of not being allowed at the venues. I usually hand held the 400mm and switch to bean bag when i get tired.
