I'm new to this area and haven't played tennis for a long time thanks to my whack work hours.

I'm in need of FREE tennis courts with LIGHTING! (I get off work after sunset, usually...)

I'll be happy if I can regularly practice serving at least so I don't lose the feeling.

I'm open to the courts in bay area in general, but it would be excellent if they are near San Francisco or San Jose.

Thank you in advance fellow tennis addicts.

You'll have a better chance of a response if you narrow it down to 2 or 3 towns that you're near---this Bay Area here is pretty big....

Well, for starters, there's the 21 courts in Golden Gate Park. No lights, but for a few more months, it doesn't get dark until 8:30 pm or so.
Public courts with lights in San Francisco are a rarity. But maybe they're out there....

There's a bunch of lit tennis courts in SF and craig's list is a great resource for tennis partners.

Orange Park in South SF has free lighted courts, but it gets very windy there.

Kash, I've seen you play. You are not a 4.5 yet. I don't know who's been blowing smoke up your butt, but you need to work more on your game.

Back on topic.

Union City and Fremont have free tennis courts with lighting.
The courts in Union City are on Dyer street, and in Fremont they would be on Deep Creek.
