I have my Volkl C10 pro strung with Wilson sensation 16 gauche at 55 lbs. Which string should I take that makes the stringbed a little bit stiffer; remaining the same tension? In the old days I just used nylon and I would like to get back a little bit of that bit stiffer feel; I do not know too much about the modern strings except that there are so many! Thanks!

The last number listed by each string is its stiffness rating. A higher number means increased stiffness.

The number just to the left of that stiffness number is the gauge in mm. If you want a thinner string, choose a smaller mm diameter. If you want the same gauge, choose something that is also approximately 1.32 mm.

Babolat Super Fine Play in a traditional synthetic; Wilson's NXT Max to stay in the multifilament line.
