how does kevlar hold tension compared to poly

kevlar doesn't hold tension......if you string a kevlar hybrid.....you will see when you cut the crosses out that the kevlar has NO tension at all.....it just gets loose because it is completely inelastic.

alright thanks i was gunna try it but i hate strings that loose alot of tension

You should give it a try... even when it loses "tension" playability is still very high with Kevlar.

It works great if you use a nice soft synthetic gut cross.

I found that I didn't notice the tension loss until right before it was about to break with a sythetic gut in the crosses. With poly in the crosses, the tension dropped rapidly at first, then it held for a little while, then it died completely.
