Is there such a thing?? Every time I have ever used full syn gut or multi I just get so frustrated with having to adjust my mains after almost every shot, but I do like the way those strings play

use string savers... Sampras used them with his gut. Recoil is marketing but no results. I couldn't tell the diff between Recoil and a regular syn string.

Third vote for Recoil. It's not just marketing, it really doesn't move.

No need to adjust it. Don't think it affects my play at all. Just don't think about it.

I'm sure most of you realize this. But, for those who don't, all strings move, the polys and others that don't "seem" to move just move back. This is of course not including string savers, etc.

Audio all of us know that all strings move. The reason I chose poly was they dont move!!! Plus they have low power.

My friend plays with Head Rip Control and it seems to move less than other multis. But polys are unbeatable on this aspect.

I would also vote for Rip Control. It only starts to move around after its playability has gone off a cliff.

I will tell you to go for Babolat Addiction 16. I can't speak for the 17g but in the 16 they don't move hardly at all. I don't tolerate string movement and will cut out any string I try that is moving. The other thing to help with this is to string your crosses about 2-3lb. higher than your mains.

Recoil is marketing but no results. I couldn't tell the diff between Recoil and a regular syn string.

I know several people, myself included, whose first hand experience completely contradicts the above quote.

I'm not saying Recoil is amazing in every respect, but it DEFINITELY does what Prince says it will.

I mix Asterisk Tour with NXT and string my crosses 3 pounds tighter than my mains and my mains never move.

Hells none of my strings move.

How about natural gut... do they move around like most syn guts/multis or do they have a tendency to snap back in place like a poly?

Nat gut moves. But if you use it in a hybrid and the other string is very smooth/slick, it'll move much less (or it moves and then moves back).

WeissCannon Explosiv! is a very slick string, which also means it doesn't have a lot of spin potential.

Isospeed Professional - it is a poly of sorts, but it is softer than most multis.

It is a multifilament type string made with polyolefine ribbons, so it's not really similar to a monofilament co-poly/polyester string at all, except by prefix. :)
