Just got some MSV Focus Hex and want to hybrid it with something else on the crosses. Any suggestions? Also, would like your thoughts on the MSV.

Also, should I use the MSV in the mains. I am thinking of hybriding with Gosen Polylon.

I tried it with gosen og 17 natural and it was alright. I'm not a big fan of it but I'd say give it a fair try.

I use Focus Hex with Pro Supex Maximum Touch in the crosses. Very nice combination, with a lot of controllable power and comfort.

MSV Focus 1.18 w/ Pro Supex FT RUFF is great
MSV Mains @ 56 - FT RUFF Crosses at 58

Also MSV @ 58 Duraflex crosses @ 58

I'm a big fan of this string.

I think MSV HEX 17 is a great string, it bites the ball well and gives me a good amount of spin!

Here is my all red set up: MG Prestige (M) X-1 58lbs (C) MSV HEX 52.2 lbs

If durability is not a concern, gut in the crosses (GG = $6 for a 1/2 set). Of the multis, I like Bab Addiction and X-1 biphase, but they are broken in 2-3 hours, tops. If you have a tight string pattern or don't break strings, those are all good choices.

My favorite cross so far that includes durability and plays great is Pro Supex Big Ace Micro. It's soft enough to be arm friendly-ish, but the Hex doesn't saw through it in two days. Great combo, actually.

I've also used SPPP in the crosses, which I liked a lot, but the Big Ace Micro is better.

Thanks for all the advice, keep it coming! I am definitely a string breaker, I usually break polys in about 12-14 hours.

I am not using MSV anymore but I liked HEX 1.10 in the mains and FOCUS 1.18 in the crosses.
