Luxilon Monotec Super Poly is only 89.99 a reel.
and Boris Becker B-Xplosive is only 39.99 a reel.

Has anyone had experience with either of these strings? because they seem like amazing Deals.

never tried these strings but the topspin polytech at $25 a reel seems like a good choice for a cheap poly

Pro Supex Big Ace Micro. My favorite poly's with synthetic gut crosses. For a reel of Big Aces, they're about 70-90 dollars.

I have not played with those strings.

But I find it very hard to beat a reel of Topspin Cyber Flash (726') 1.25 at $68. Just great playing string for the money.

Probably one of the best bang for your buck polys. Comes out to $3.80 per 40ft set of string.

I disagree with the Polyspin recommendation. Although it's only 25 bucks, it's not really worth the money. I had a set of it that I strung up my Dynamic Energy with. It played a little stiff the first time I went out, perfectly fine the second, and the third, it was way too boardy (it was actually kind of soft too... a soft boardy?) and lacking both spin and power. Not really worth the money IMO, when you can get Isospeed Baseline for 40 bucks, or Pro supex Premier Ace for around 40 as well.

Cyber Blue is great also - I like that as well. It was my 'go to' string for several months when I was getting into polys. I personally recommend it if you're not looking for a super stiff string. One thing to note though, is that the tension loss on the 16 gauge is more severe than the others, and I found that to be true in playing with it.

Topspin Cyber Blue 1.25 Polyester 1.24 233 15.66
Topspin Cyber Flash 1.25 Polyester 1.23 240 15.54

Topspin Cyber Blue 1.30 Polyester 1.31 246 20.38
Topspin Cyber Flash 1.30 Polyester 1.27 258 15.28

I like how CB 1.30 plays, but after 4 - 6 hours of hard hitting it does start to go downhill. The 1.25 holds tension better until it breaks, IMO.

[Sorry to hijack this thread.. just wanted to answer this poster's query.]

I hear you. I asked a couple friends of mine if they had experience with either of them, and they didn't either. Sorry I can't help you there.

You should look at Gosen they make decent poly's for cheap.
