Has anyone played with it? Why the hell is it so cheap compared to Revenge and PHT???

I am still confused as to what Nadal plays with, on TW is says hurricane, but I'm pretty sure its duralast.

Why is it so cheap? It's a first gen poly that plays fine in the first hour or two and then becomes absolutely dead. Hence the 1st gen categorization.

I dare you to find any first generation polyester that's not (relatively) cheap :)

Well ain't Luxilon ALU a 1st gen poly? Or at least it came out in 1993.:) Look at the outrangeous price, oh well just cos it's Luxilon.

If ALU was a 1st generation poly there wouldn't be something called Big Banger Original.

^Good point... Excluding Luxilon due to their insane amount of money spent on marketing.

I read on a site that had pro's racket specs and interesting facts. It said Nadal plays with PHTs, but they appear to be more translucent and appear to look like duralast.

It has been confirmed many times on this board that Nadal does, in fact, play with duralast.

I dont think they will start selling it either.B/c it is such a stiff string and i guess they dont wont people injuring themselves..Duralast Tour is the stiffest string..Even more stiff than Luxilon

This Duralast on TW is not the same. Nadal uses Duralast Tour which is significantly different than what TW has. What is on TW is basically just relabeled balistic poly mono.

He uses 15 gauge yellow Duralast. Technically not called Duralast Tour.... it used to be called Tour Duralast, but now it's just called Duralast (even on the French, UK, Spanish websites).

Although, it lists three different colors (one being yellow), whereas TW only shows one for packages, but you can buy it in all three colors in reels (for $100).
