I watched most of the 1st video of Younes Hidass. I presume that's on clay. I hope he has opportunities to play on hard courts because that's what college is played on. Clays will give him some advantages, but hard court is different.

I would edit the video big time! Cut out the nonsense of him drinking & sitting & walking out. I didn't see a back hand until about 20% through. So edit out a lot of that forhand coverage. The back hand skyhook looked nervous & uncomfortable. You have to get the video a lot shorter -- aim for 3 minutes. Coaches can size someone up that fast and that's about all the time they'll spend on a video.

It's difficlut to judge from these kinds of videos because they aren't competing. Stress, conditioning, strategy, etc cannot be judged from it. If possible, video tape competition.

At age 17, I'd estimate him to be someone who would be playing championship level USTA tournaments. If he were class of 2010, I'd estimate him to be ranked between 175 - 350. It's just so difficult to determine w/o viewing competition.

Wow the guy in the third video has an odd FH and BH. (Seriously not trying to be dismissive here, but) he hits a bit like a girl.

Yes, they could play college tennis. Try to remember, they don't fully develop until 24, so hopefully they trainable, good grades, team players, etc. There's just so much to it.

Perhaps this NTRP chart will answer some of your questions about their rating:
