I saw a lot of this, he was way ahead of everyone else but as it has been pointed out the best players in college were elsewhere.

Yes you are right, he beat some lower level college guys but the point is that he automatically gets an entry into D'Novo Men's All-American Championships in early October.
:) and of course, he is the favorite to win that as well.

The kiss of death is being applied by Dr Fedace. His support of poor Alex is almost surely going to be the cause of some problem for him this year.

No, the last time the ITA did singles rankings, Clayton was 18th. If you take out all the seniors that graduated in May and moved players up and down the rankings accordingly then Clayton would be 7th at best. He's not #1.

I wish the "what happened to Stanford tennis" thread was still here. Didn't Fedace say in that thread that Bruch would be a better pro then Isner & Somdev, and only injuried held him back?

Did we lose the Standford thread? Darn, that was a good place for updates.

Anywhoooo, I'm going to the Laguna Niguel Futures later this week. That's not too far from Sandy Eggo. I wonder if the good doctor would come up and meet me in person? I bet he wouldn't.

I'm not obsessed with you, sorry to squash that dream of yours.

I already have my degree (and if I was a student at Stanford, I wouldn't have time to waste on a tennis forum, I would be studying to get every penny's worth of a very expensive education).

What team does your son play for? Stanford will no doubt be a very tough match. Look out for some serious boasting from our resident "Standford" fan when the match draws near. Keep us posted on how your son is doing and good luck to him. TTenor
