I think I do. When a car is driving there is an air flow going underneath it. With Formula One cars the gap is very small. Because of that the air will move very fast. This creates a lot of downforce, which means the car is pushed down. This way the cars have a lot of grip and can take corners at high speeds. However if the car hits the track, the airflow stops and suddenly all grip is removed. It's like you're driving on ice. No grip. Senna was in a high speed corner and could only go straight ahaid when he hit that thing.
