I have been an incredibly dedicated tennis player for the past two years. I've played nearly everyday. I have made it up to Captain of the Varsity squad at my school. My dream was to make it to a d1 college, then after turn pro. Then something happened. A girl came along that changed my world. I'm on the top of the world when i'm with her. As I spend more time with her tennis becomes less of a way of life and more of a hobby. So yeah name something that you value more than tennis.

Kids? No way. A girlfriend or wife? Not even close. Family? Hah! I might say a nice bicycling ride is close, maybe even....uhhhh.....even to tennis but that's about it.

Fool! Give her up; make it a rough breakup and get back to work! Tennis is forever---you knew that going in!

Seriously speaking, once you have children you realize that that's the lump of wax there, the whole kahuna, the thing you most deeply and irrationally love and want to see advance. I'd take bullets.

Always remember who your friends are and what they mean to you...it's easy to take for granted.

See, all the more reason not to have kids! Besides, just imagine the child support payments you would have to make. Imagine how many cans of balls, strings, shoes, clothing and racquets you would have to give up. http://www.fahrschule-richter.net/gaestebuch/images/smilies/shudder.gif

Dude I know! Who watches that seriously. They should just play more tennis. I wonder if there's a nascar forum who argues about tennis being played too much lol.

Fool! Give her up; make it a rough breakup and get back to work! Tennis is forever---you knew that going in!

Lol I worked hard for 2 years non stop. I never thought i'd find something more important than tennis. Not long ago I gave up hope, I got really into tennis after I got cheated on so I got incredibly into tennis. Then she came along... gave me something I could hold onto. Sooooo I don't think I'll give up her for a game. Even though sh doesn't want me to quit to make more time for her, she also refuses to play with me sooo yeah.

Seriously, then don't. I don't mean that you shouldn't make some time, naturally, but don't stop tennis. Just cut back some. Remember, she started liking you while you were playing tennis a lot so if she leaves (of course one hopes not), it won't be because of the tennis. Women like men who have a life outside of them. Even if that life "merely" consists of tennis.

I'm only 17 so I'm not close to that yet.

I was just saying how she's more important and I would give up tennis without any regret.

does the bible mention you shouldnt have sex?

It doesn't, but it sounds as if he is meaning sex, promiscuously. The Christian God intended sexual relationships with a husband and wife only.
