Do the Fittex grommet replacements go inside or outsite of the old grommet strip?

Outside. I'm surprised you think you can simply re-install a grommet strip once you remove it--the head guard anyway, which is where most replacement grommets wind up.

Actually its the tie offs near the throat where I see them needed the most.
