Hi all
I am getting my mother a new racquet for her 60th birthday, but am not quite sure what to go for as it's not really the same market I go for!
She tends to play doubles, from the back of the court (!), at a fairly leisurely pace. For the past 15 years she's stuck loyally to a Wilson Profile Aireshell (remember those) so something fairly light but not obscenely gigantic would be ideal.
I'll be indebted to anyone with a good suggestion!
Cheers
Tom

Wilson Six.Two or Babolat Drive Z Lite. The Z Lite is much lighter( around 250g ) while the Six.Two is around 284g. Both weights with the racquet unstrung.

Good lord, that's huge! Maybe I've been staring @ K90 for too long.

OP, do you have a price range? If your mother doesn't mind a change of brand, I would say a Prince EXO3 Red. Or you can go with 2008 model, Prince Speedport Red. I've seen a lot of older ladies using that frame...

I'll agree with this suggestion. Super light and provides power and spin. Can't beat that price, either.

Two guys in my singles league use this racket, and they are quite good with it.

You could try the Dunlop Aerogel 4D Super-Lite...

Prince O3 Blue.

Good doubles racquet
light, reasonable size @110
swings so easy with the o-ports.

TW has it priced to steal.

Is that a gold colored racket with blue lettering...? I seem to remember a lot of people playing with does in the day.

Volkl V1 . That is a racquet that would fit her style and skill level. IMHO
