View Full Version : flex..fischer m pro #1 vs head rad mp..same

everyone talks about how flexable the fischer m pro #1 is but no body talks about how flexable the head rad mp (micro or youtek) is. Why? The head is very flexable...actually less than the fischer.

I'll take a stab at this. I think it's because a listed flex rating isn't the only thing that translates to a "flexy" feel, just as important as how stiff the frame is overall, is WHERE the frame flexes. A flexible upper hoop and stiff throat feels a lot different than a flexible throat and a stiff upper hoop. The Fischer frames I've tried are flexy, but they don't have nearly the same type of flexy feel as my C10 Pros, despite having lower flex ratings... precisely because material is concentrated in different spots, translating into a different feel.

Get the fischer! I demoed it and wow it was clearly amazing. String it with NXT 16. What a racket!

IMO the radical flexes differently from the mpro. the mpro flexes more at the throat while the radical feels like its flexing evenly through the racquet. both are flexy, but just in different ways.

i think the origimal pro one 320 g version flexes better than the mspeed pro one
in fact... i think the older one is a better racquet in all areas...
they should bring it back... but theres zero chance now that fischer has been bait for the sharks

even with a copoly... the original has more comfort than the new m speed (strung with a soft synthetic multi)
