Cleaning my racquets this morning and noticed that the info says "9 pts HL"
Seemed odd to me so I checked the Wilson and TW websites in search of the truth. Both sites confirmed my thoughts about it being 6 pts HL.

Both these racquets were purchased from my local pro shop that I've been going to for over 20 years so I highly doubt they are bootlegs.

Any thoughts as to why they are different

It's probably unstrung vs strung specs.

Mine is 8 pts HL strung with Recoil and a TournaOG

Precisely. It's 9 points HL unstrung but only 6 when strung.

To make sure, you can go to the Wilson website and click on "Download pdf" when checking out the KPS88. It is difference between strung and unstrung.
