I honestly hope that everyone who tries to get a "deal" that is too good to be true, gets scammed. Buying from shady operations only hurts everyone (you, the manufacturer, the legitimate retailer, and ultimately, the rest of us) except the scammer. Best policy is to buy from a qualified and reputable retailer (like TW-the sponsor of this website, for instance). If you have any concerns that you might be buying a fake--don't buy it. If you do it anyway and you get scammed, it serves you right. I don't wish anyone ill fortune but when you play with snakes, you shouldn't complain if you get bitten.
