Basically saying the same thing: she has ordered 14 racquets at the same specs she required while she was on tour, but no definitive news on when (or if at all) she is returning to the tour.

IMO, if she does return, she should come back at Roland Garros. They'd give her a wildcard for sure, and she would win a slam in her first tournament back :D

Kim is not Big ?? kidding right? Kim has shoulders like NFL linebacker and Legs like Pele. in WTA, it is not height but the width. How much muscle you have in your legs and in your core. That is how woman generate power.

and Henin beating Serena, Only time Henin beat serena is when Serena is off of her game and making tons of errors and giving away the match. Henin will just run down and keep the ball in play til Serena misses. so only time Serena loses to Henin is when she is off...

Nothing's changed since she left. She was #1 in the Big Girl era you are referring to. Clijsters showed that nothing changed. Henin probably couldn't take that the girl she owned won the US Open with a wild card. Now the Sistas will have to work harder. This is good for the WTA saving the tour from the Serena tirade.

this post makes you look really dumb. henin owned serena in 2007, beating her in 3 grand slams. serena plays a very high risk (and mindless) game, so of course she is going to make more errors than most. justine out-thought her and outplayed her in all 3 of those grand slams.

Only place Justine can Outplay Serena is on Clay at the French. On any other court, Only way Serena would lose to Justine is if she is playing badly that day and beating herself.... on top of all this WTA players and Serena Williams have improved Vastly from just 3 years ago.:)

Serena hasn't vastly improved...the rest of the field has fallen since Henin's retirment, and Serena has stayed the same.

Henin will easily be top-5 if she returns...will probably challenge for #1 very soon. I don't think that she'll own Clijsters this time around, though.

You obviously didnt see their U.S Open match in 2007. Serena did not play badly at all, Henin simply overpowered and outplayed her that day with 30 clean winners to 17 for Serena. She took on Serena on her home turf and beat her at her own game.

Your posts in this thread again show what a ridiculous troll you are. The game is totally different from a year and a half ago. Hahahah. Venus sadly seems to be going down with age, Maria is nearly gone for the time being, Serena is the same, and the rest is even worse than a couple years ago.

Kuznetsova and Dementieva are Henin's beetches. And no they are not any different now than when Henin left. Oudin!?!? I am excited by her potential but shouldnt we wait until she does something more than her first slam quaterfinal before we talk about her doing well vs a 7 slam winner presumably still in her prime. Azarenka has a long way to go, Schiavone even beat her at the U.S Open.

Are you serious? What kind of drastic change do you think has overcome the WTA in the last year-and-a-half? The Williamses and Sharapova were and still are (though Sharapova has obviously dropped way off) the epitome of women's power tennis, and Henin handled them admirably

Henin 3-2 vs Serena and 3-0 vs Serena in slams in the last 5 years. In the last 5 years only 2 slams for Serena and 5 for Justine while both were actually on tour. Serena is already starting to get knocked around by the 2nd best Belgian, I would say the best Belgian returning as well would be her worst nightmare. The free ride she has enjoyed the last couple years of winning multiple slams by default out of shape and half commited via facing a nothing field depleted by retirements, injured players, and choking headcases would come even more to a shrieking halt.

Venus is already done on any surface other than grass as a potential slam winner and given that she will already be 30 by the time of next years Wimbledon she might even soon be finished there as far as a potential winner before too long. She is a great player, particularly on fast courts, but is already showing the clear effects of age and is nearing the end of the line. If Justine returns in form I doubt she would have any trouble with Venus anywhere but grass, and even on grass the clock is ticking for Venus.

LMAO. Fedace..

Maybe you haven't seen Justine play in person - but much like Federer she is a really big hitter. She has hit 121mph serve and actually was clocked hitting some of the biggest forehands on the tour.

Much like Fed - people drool over her well rounded complete game but she can smack the ball around with the best of them. She is ABSOLUTELY a bigger hitter the Kim who I like as well..

^^Only problem is Henin doesn't scare anyone with that skinny stature. These new power game big girl tennis like Azarenka, Kuznetsova, Dementiava, and Oudin, it is very difficult to make it on tour with speed alone.

So much fail from Fedace it's not funny. Oudin is exactly the same height Henin is. BIG GIRL TENNIS?

We will see what happens. i am predicting she won't make the quarterfinals at the Aussie open.. Azaraenka will show her the Big Babe tennis as mary Carillo put it...

Azarenka? The overhyped clown who couldnt even beat an aging Schiavone at the U.S Open.

No definitive news yet, but here's another report fueling the rumours, this time from Associated Press:

Her time is OVER. There is no place for Little girl tennis. She won't crack the top 50 or even 100. Today's game is Big Girl Big game Power tennis.

Is this supposed to be a joke? If Justine does come back, she would be one of the elite players once again. As another poster stated, she is basically the female version of Federer. She can do it all.

Hey - i like randomly coming across one of my own pics in a thread :D

The summer i took that - 2008 - she was in my humble opinion the fittest player I saw train on the WTA. Powerful, explosive, and perfectly comfortable with the idea of being off the ground half the time!

Fedace... again... show's he doesn't have a clue.

Allez jooostine, come back and make the WTA more watchable!

I so wish we could have ONE thread with all of Fedace's predictions.

I guess I'll just keep dreaming :)

^^ It could be done, if someone had enough time on their hands.

Then again, looking at all of Fedace's posts at one go could be hazardous to one's mental health.

Anyone who thinks Justine Henin can't hit with the biggest hitters on the tour is an idiot. Justine Henin beat both Serena and Venus Williams at the USO 2008 from the baseline; absolutely dominating both. There is nothing to suggest (especially now that Clijsters came literally out of nowhere) that Justine Henin could not win a slam, especially at the FO.

Some reports say she is still away with UNICEF doing some publicity work, so that might be a reason why she hasn't had a chance to hold a press conference to announce it. I'm hoping that's why.

It was 2007 USO but I agree,Henin has plenty of power and can go toe to toe with biggest hitters on WTA no problem.

Now that I think of it...yes, it was a fat joke. Poor Justine won't be able to reach Centre Court w/ Bartoli, Serena, and Petrova blocking the entrance!

Dude, you just conjured a foul image in my mind

So is it all systems go for Henin or what?

Nothing heard from Henin yet. Looks like journalists jumping the gun so far. But too many rumors flying around.....so, you never know.

She needs to come back. Tennis players are pretty young - and often make stupid decisions. Leaving the game for both Clijsters and Henin was just dumb. The reason is that you have 60+ (maybe more with medical technology) to fool around and do the 'other' stuff in life. But each of them have like maybe 2 or 3 left to play elite level tennis.. You don't throw away those years. You will regret that forever if you do.
