Would anyone happen to know where any grass or clay courts are in the Los Angeles area or Bay area in California? Would it only be at clubs with exculsive membership and/or playing time fees?

Your best bet would be in resorts such as Palm Springs. Last I recall, La Quinta and Marriott Desert Hot Springs have grass and clay courts, among other resorts....

you can go to la quinta or la costa. i went to la quinta and played on grass, clay, and hard courts. they have 1 grass court (2 before), 4 clay courts, and approx. 6 hard courts including the center court. visit the resort and i'm pretty sure that you'll enjoy it!

How much would playing at the resorts of these places cost? Are they only for people staying there?
