Ok, I'm definitely into thin co-polys.

Tried BAM, MSV focus Hex 1.10mm and now I play with PLII 1.15mm. just love it.

I'm thinking about trying Lux TIMO 110. Is it worth a try? According to RSI string table, it is a bit stiffer but holds tension better than PLII.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't. I used it once and hated it. There are such better strings out there for the same price.

Price wise, a reel of TIMO is twice as much as a reel of PLII. Not considering the fact that PLII already is an expensive stirng, considering cheap and good string such as Cyberflash, SPPP and others.

Honestly, I really liked PLII. It lacked a little on the control side for me though. Ever since I have been using tecnifibre BC, I have been very happy. The 18ga is very lively with great spin. You may want to give that one a try. It's not cheap by any means but it is cheaper than lux and better than timo IMHO.

If your arm can handle it (read stiff), it definitely is worth trying. Has a fairly unique feel.

I loved TiMo. Just couldn't afford it. Currently using MSV Focus Hex 1.10.

Thanks for the inputs guys. BC is a nice option as well, I'll take a close look at them.

like big ace 1.22 better than proline 2. i think luxilon is a much better thin poly than TIMO

Not to sound mean, but TiMo is made by Luxilon.

dadozen....I think you will be surprised by BC. It is soft and provides excellent feel and control. It also is one of the only polys that I have come across that consistently feels the same. Blasting groundies of finesse shots, it stays the same and doesn't get boardy or feel stiff.
