View Full Version : Is the "Pat" in Agassi's book Pat Etcheberry ?

So in Agassi's book he talks about how Nick B. hires a "Chilean Strongman named Pat who never asks me to do anything that he's not willing to do himself, which I respect." Later in the book he talks about going to UNLV with Pat and meeting Gil Reyes and when Pat goes out of town Reyes basically says you're doing everything wrong...and then Agassi starts his partnership with Reyes. If it is Etcheberry, that seems like some pretty bad publicity.

Yes, Pat Etcheberry was Agassi's first trainer.
