2010 is Murray's year, he says.

I wonder if he watched his last two matches.

During one of the change overs today in verdasco match, Murray asked the tournament referee what he needs to do to qualify for the semifinals.

He lost the second set with verdasco serving at 47% and I am pretty much sure he tied or broke mens record for number of double faults on pressure points.

This is the mentality of the guy who Goran picks for next year grand slam winner.

Good luck.

errr, it's not like it's the end of 2010 yet. perhaps goran has seen something we haven't. probably not in that match though.

Dude, I love Goran, and I respect his tennis intelligence. However, I think, like his game, his predictions are based more on hunch and gut feeling than anything empirical.

Go Goran!

He sounded pretty good in the little clip.

For a while it felt so safe to predict a Murray slam win. That doesnt apply anymore imo.

Goran's not a bad analyst, actually. He predicted greatness for Nadal in 2004, and as early as 2002 said that Federer had the talent to dominate the game. In 2002, I thought Federer was a big underachiever who might never live up to his potential.

Murray can win a slam, but for the best of tennis i think he shouldn't!

Pretty much this, I think everyone knows he has the game to win one if he ever starts playing aggressively, but his snobby brat attitude isn't something anyone likes.

Oh god this is so stupid. Murray is so yesterday. If anyone is going to dominate 2010 it's DelPo because he can win a lot on clay/hard but grass will go to Roger.
