prince vortex with ats ss 2 machine

Im having a hard time stringing my prince vortex mp. The problem is that it has staggered string pattern and im having trouble holding tension with the flying clamps on the ats ss 2 stinger. Are there any tricks or special tools to make this work better? Any info will help.

soulincontrol, just angle the clamps to match the plane of the strings.

there is no real common plane. The vortex is one of the frames with the offset grommets so you get a twisted action between the strings.

Yeah, the strings make a 30(ish) degree angle. Like this...

I guess you're just gonna have to clamp closer to the middle, but get as close to the frame as you can, w/out slipping.
