This is why he has more fans than any other.
If he wins great, but even if he loses, you still get your Federer Moments:

Thanks for putting up the clip here, OddJack, I knew it was just a matter of time.
Ridiculous stuff from Fed! Wow!
The whole match had great moments, IMO.

Yea, people have a tendency to jump on the band wagon after someone has success.

Thanks for that clip. Didn't watch the match but heard about that shot.
Pity he lost, full credit to Davydenko. I hope he wins the WTF. He has worked so hard.
wrt The Fed, trouble is, he set such an unbelievably high standard that a little drop from there seems catastrophic.
Long live the Fed. Long live Nadal. Long live the stars of the ATP!
Tennis is the true winner.

That was a bit of champagne tennis which was a regular feature from 2003-2007.

Another reason why he's GOAT. It's not just the GS titles. He's the best player to WATCH period.

He also has the most haters, as you can see on this board. People who probably didn't even get to watch Sampras play are claiming he's better than Fed

When Roger plays well he's so much fun to watch but when he's playing bad... like in Miami...:shock:...it's painful.

Yes, that was the best shot of the match but D had some excellent shots and more of them! It's hard to admit it but F seems to have lost some of his competitiveness. How can one lose so many first sets?

I agree, Roger's competitive level has declined somewhat. He's not pulling through in the important points of the matches.

That's a usual Fed shot, nothing to get excited over ;-)
Seriously, great shot, he loves those returns of overheads passing shots.

On a separate note, do you or anyone have that funny net chord shot from Delpo against Fed?
