Not joking. I got into a fight with a girl over it. I refused to text and she would text me all the time and get ****ed I wouldnt text back. I told her hundreds of times im not answering texts.

I almost never call. Txting is so much easier.

Same here, it's too much hassle.

I've got friends who do it 24/7, you go to see a film or a sporting event with them and they miss 90% of it texting away all the time.

Texting is a real problem in many areas, including the one in question.

I myself can be guilty of this too. It seems everyone is too afraid to actually talk to each other anymore if we can avoid it. (Similar problem with email).

For example, in the old days -- like ten years ago -- if you wanted to communicate with a girl, you had to dial the damn phone and say something. Now you can add a layer of 'protection' by texting or email. Do that enough, and you find yourself with less courage to make phone calls.

I hate it when I get texts back and forth for something that can easily be solved with a 30 second phone call. For simple stuff like telling my wife to pick up milk, I can just text her that anytime.

my calls last 20 seconds. alot can happen in that time.
