Awesome photos; too funny. Head should really consider using those photos in an ad campaign :p . Anything is better than the current Agassi quote "When I hit it, I feel like I know what I did" Come on.

Too funny.

I was about to say the same thing. I think that photo proves that he DOES INDEED use a REAL Flexpoint since the head broke right at the two cutout areas where it should break.

I've always thought that Flexpoint was a way for Head to increase racquet replacement sales, if you know what I mean. ;)

how does that pic show he doesnt use the real flexpoint? i ask people all the time, and everyone gives the answeres of, yes he does use the updated racquets, and others say no he uses the old prince graphite. one guy said he uses the old prince graphite because it was made of foam, and that with agassi's forhand how he just slaps at the ball kinda, it helps it i guess, and thats the only one he can really use suposidely,, he said he knew someone who used to string his racquet, and that he held his racquet before, and that it looked and felt like the old prince,, so i dunno,,

Yeah just to explain my joke to others, the racquet bends at 5 and 7 o'clock in this picture instead of 3 and 9 as it's advertised. Perhaps Agassi has customized the racquet this way???

--

"In the sixth game of the second set, Agassi had four double-faults."
-From that article above

He double-faulted an entire game??? This is highly frustrating at the amateur level, I can really see how much more it would anger a legend like Agassi.

--

I think Agassi used a semi-western/western grip to accomplish such a racquet break. Whenever Safin/Roddick break a racquet, the hoop usually collapses because they uses a continental/hammer grip to really slam the beam into the court. Maybe this grip explanation of racquet breaking should be moved to tips/instruction? ;)

When i first saw the upper picture i thought raftermania had modified the photo to look agassis racquet as broken but the i saw the kid's fan pic recieving the racquet and i got convinced it was broken cause i hardly believe he broke the racquet cause on the court he is a gentlemen......But is there a reason for raftermania to say that is not a flexpoint? remember the Flex holes are Flexible....a material very similar to rubber to it bends and its hard to break cause its not a total solid....and it depends on the way he through the racquet to break it so it might be he using a flexpoint.

After looking at the pictures on http://www.tennisserver.com/claycou...ssicourier.html
I think Andre is using the new Flexpoint Radical. It is a 16 x 19 pattern with what look like a hole.

The racquet was bended apart of points 5 and 7 also in points 1 and 11. Those four points 7 and 11 , and 1 and 5 correspondingly are symmetrical relatively to the line 3-9. This means that whatever he uses his racquet is very stabe across that line.

Looks like 18 mains to me.

TW says JCF uses the Radical Tour, which has 16 mains. The regular Radical Flexpoint has 18 mains.
