Just received a demo strung w/Wilson Reaction 16. Anyone know anything about this string? Thanks.

it's a nice and soft wilson multi... nothing spectacular, just average IMO

Must have gotten quite lost in the mail as it's been out since 2004/5! :)

Reaction never received the popularity here implied by the USRSA playtest, one of the rare times their randomly-chosen testers seemingly missed the mark: http://www.racquetsportsindustry.com/articles/2005/05/wilson_reaction_16.html

Babolat's Addiction is its update/upgrade too.

Agree with everything here. I've been using it but I need to switch to a more durable string as my kick serve is burning through these things.

it's still a step up from that crappy wilson sensation though

It's amazing up at net. You get the strings on the ball and you'll hit a great volley.

Problem is, lack of spin on groundstrokes. Maybe power too, but I think the main issue was spin. It's great for serve and volleyers, but otherwise it's nothing special. If you stick to the baseline, don't bother with this string.

very soft, comfortable string.

it's stiffer than most other multi filament but it is still softer than syn gut and poly. The price is great on the string. It cost about $7 a set and $120 a reel.
