Pretty self-explanitory really?
What do you lot reckon was the best album of 2009?
Remember, there can be a difference between your favourite, and the best :)
My vote goes to Primary Colours by The Horrors

Massively overated in my opinion. There older stuff was much better, and this just got hyped to the extreme because of 'sex on fire'

My vote goes to "The Incident" by Porcupine Tree. Even though these guys have been around since the early 90's, this album sounds just as good (if not better) as their earlier works.
But if we're nominating well known bands, then I'd vote for "The Resistance" by Muse.

I'd agree with that.
The OP's suggestion of Primary Colours by The Horrors was a pretty good shout imo.
Other's that i've liked have been Mariachi El Bronx, Manners by Passion Pit is something fun, It's Blitz! from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Biffy Clyro are as good as ever.
