Mary Pierce will not win another Grand Slam. Her age and health history rule her out.

Sandietotennisboy, I can post the message for her simple introduction to let you know:

She has a title name: French sexy goddess/The body;
She is a blonde;
She has a single blair hair looks (This hair looks can use at Anna Kournikova, Alexandra Stevenson, Jelena Dokic, etc.)
She has won two Grand Slams: Australian Open 1995 & Roland Garros 2000.

Mary's big chance I feel was at the 04 US Open. I think if she didn't get injured, she probably would have been able to make the semi, or even win, considering Davenport herself got injured there.

His comment (which I agree with) was not disrespectful, it was just his opinion. If Mary can stay healthy, she will be a dangerous player to deal with and a good challenge for the higher ranked players, but she would have to get a lot of lucky breaks to win another Slam. It would be interesting to see if she can make it back to the Top Ten though.

Mary is such a strange situation. She plays phenominal tennis one week, and she will be total crap the next week. And not all of that is because of injuries, she's been pulling inconsistent crap for years.

The sad fact is every athlete has a 'window of opportunity' - Mary's has come and gone. He had a pretty good career, all things considered, especially Crazy Jim, her Dad - as others already mentioned. Making her run behind the car after losing in Juniors - unbelievable. Probably did leave a few majors on the table but all in all, 2 majors and 16 total titles - a lot of people would love to have had that resume.

I've always loved watching Mary play. She has great strokes, clean and powerful. I love her all out power game. OK, so she isn't the best mover but neither is Davenport. She had an abusive tennis father, as has Dokic. She has had a ton of injuries too. But Mary managed to pull through and win two slams, and had a shot at a few others. She made herself a champion in spite of those difficulties and that is what I admire most about her.
