One of the best things i have incorporated is to take their serve early, especially the second. I was having no end of trouble trying to find the ball in my normal position. Another thing i try to get going is my forehand against their backhand in rallies, instead of vice versa. The benefits are obvious. I also try to slice my serve wide in the duece court much the same as they do to us in the ad.

I regularly play against a lefty. My general strategy is being extra careful of my shots. Because of the forehand\backhand difference I am forced to play higher risk shots to get to his weaker stroke usually a backhand down the line to force a return from his backhand.
Just take your time and be patient and play smart. It is very important that you pick good opportunities to attack because you will most likely be attacking to their strengths.

All good advice so far. Slice serve to them from the deuce court. Hit to their backhand as much as possible. Take the second serve early is good, even first serve before it spins in on you or away too much. Get everything back. All good advice against lefties. Practice against them as much as possible.

Lefty, I didnt even notice, the #1 singles guy noticed after a few games I would hit to his backhand but he returned with a forehand our #1 singles was confused too... funny. He kept hitting to my backhand but when I hit to his he always hit it with forehand :/. I have to watch carefully from now on :P
watched a 5.0 left S&Ver slice and ace the hell out of this righty baseliner...at least 3 every service game...it was scary

Well assuming this lefty has a weaker bh your going to want to hit your shots to his bh.So on your bh go inside out or dtl,on your fh go cross court. As far as serving you want to take advantge of your slice on the duece court and T serve on the add side. Now if they have a good bh and their fh is weak then go about your shot selection as if they were a righty.I'd try jamming them on the serve too.
