Currently i play with a Babolat Aero Storm(not tour)
It has pro hurricane tour 16 strings on mains and crosses
but i hate it, i don't get any feel or power on everything, except serves.
I like Pro hurricane tour alot but just don't like how it feels.

Im thinking of going to Hybrid strings and diff gauges
Specifically Pro Hurricane Tour 17 on mains and Prince Synth. gut(w/ duraflex) 16 on Cross
Mains at 60lbs and crosses at 62lbs

So my question is:
Is my choice of strings good?
Is it good to use 2 diff Gauges?

P.s. I am a high school player, kinda of a mid intermediate player.
If you need any more info just ask.

Try Pro Supex Maxim Touch instead of PSGD. It works very well with a poly in the mains.

Try Kirschbaum Pro Line II 1.15 instead of Bab PHT. PL II has a lot of feel for a poly.

Also try the thinnest gauges you can. Thinner strings give more feel. Also, lower the tension a fraction: go 62 on the Maxim Touch, and 58 on the Kirsch.

Try Kirschbaum Pro Line II 1.20 instead of Bab PHT. PL II has a lot of feel for a poly.

Also try the thinnest gauges you can. Thinner strings give more feel.

Or if you want more bite, try Spiky Shark instead. It is identical to PL II only has a contoured edge. Also, for more feel you can try natural gut on the mains.

I agree with this -- go as thin as you can...sometimes, a thinner cross can start to cut through the mains a little faster than a thicker one...
