Hi, I am an all court player and mostly hit with 4.0s and 4.5s, I currently use full Big Ace at 58-60 or so; I have tried Luxilons and don't like them, SPPP, nat guts, a number of multis, hybrided synth guts, and I have settled on full poly.

So what 5 strings shall I order to try out and experiment with in my n6.1 95 16x18? Tension Maintenance and Playability are my main concerns, Lux's are out because they go dead too fast. I use Big Ace cause it lasts at least 8x longer than Lux and 1st-gen poly. I might try out X1 Biphase or a decent multi as well.

I'm thinking CyberBlue or CyberFlash, Black Code, Pro Red Code, X1 Biphase, and Weiss Cannon Silverstring, but I'm nowhere definite on that list.

~THANKS~

HERE is a list of many recent pro's racquets and their strings, for inspiration: http://www.colinthestringer.com/pros-strings/

You can't beat the PolyStar sample pack: 4 sets for $25 shipped.

^^^Polystar is supposed be as good as Lux and TS Cyber****, according to the local distributor. Nice colors too, if you are tired of ALU or Gray colored string.

Signum Pro Hyperion and Tornado?
Babolat Revenge?

Just strung up some Babolat Revenge for a guy, and it feels a lot like TF Redcode. I wouldn't get both. TF Blackcode sounds interesting. If you like spin at all, I'd try Signum Pro Hextreme. I never cared for Cyberflash in the mains because it shears on mis-hits a lot. Big Ace Micro makes a nice cross. I haven't tried Hyperion or Tornado, but they sound interesting. So, here's my list:
TF Blackcode
Signum Pro Hextreme
Pro Supex Big Ace Micro
Signum Pro Hyperion
Weiss Canon Silverstring

Here's your list :p

1. Babolat Xcel #POWER# - best multi on the market. Better than X-One and [K] Gut in my experience.

2. Signum Pro Hyperion - FANTASTIC good feeling and nice powerfull smooth CoPoly in black with EXCELLENT tension and elasticity maintenance. VERY comfortable for a CoPoly.

3. Signum Pro Tornado - with its TWISTED edged shape it has a bit extra spin over the Hyperion, less power than Hyperion and a some what more dense feel compared to Hyperion.

4. WeissCannon TurboTwist - really good performing spinny CoPoly, that feels like a multi.........

5. Tecnifibre BlackCode - although not as good as Tornado, this string still has many fans, and that is because It's a MARVELLOUS good string.

I would suggest:

1. HEAD Sonic Pro- Ridiculously soft, almost thought it was a multi the first time I played with it
2. MSV Focus Hex 1.10- If I had to use one word to sum up what this racquet offers, it would clearly be SPIN.
3. Polystar Energy- I really like the qualities of this string. This is the one Davydenko plays with.
4. Golden Set Poly/Hex Poly- Both of these are similar, but Hex offers a tad bit more spin and less durability. Unbelievable budget polyester strings. Don't let the price put you off; these strings are PERFORMERS.
If you want to try out a multi-
5. Pacific Premium Power X 16L- Very crisp. A LOT of power. It plays really well, but what really struck me was the tension maintenance- this string just locks in the tension.

mm I have a hybrid of technifibre red code and black code :) works wonders. I get plenty of spin and control on an Eastern fh felt like I generated lots of pace w/o trying to hard (red code mains black code crosses) edit: as for playability I think it lasts me anywhere from about 5 days to 2 weeks depending on how well I'm hitting

One I forgot to mention is Pacific Poly X Force. It's a great string. A little pricey, but hits well.

2) MSV EVO-Hex- Different feel then the Focus HEX. 17ga 1.25mm or the 17L ga 1.20mm.

2) Cyberflash 1.20,
3) Kirschbaum Pro Line II 1.15,
4) Lux BB Ace 1.12,
5) TF Pro Red Code 1.20

Go as thin as possible for more feel in a full poly bed.
