Iíve been using Cyberflash 1.25 in my mains with syngut crosses for the last 5-6 months.. I love it at first but notice that around the 10-15 hour mark it seems to develop the so called trampoline effect and if I really swing out on the ball I just feel like its going to fly on meÖ is this about the normal time that you CF users get out of this string? My tension is usually in the low 50ís, so Iím sure once the poly goes dead this really helps to enhance the rocket launcher characteristics Iíve been experiencing.

I want to try the new Cyber Red to see if it lasts longer, have any of you been able to compare the two yet??

it sounds about right (i used to play full cf before my TE)
1.20 loses tension even more quickly

I never tried full CF, but I loved CF 1.20 hybrided with Wilson Sensation 1.25, or better yet Volkl PF II 1.18.

I dont feel any reverse effect of losing tension really. There is a little loss in spin from what i feel in my string bed. It is full Cyber Flash 17g #57 and has been in for a month... I am not sensitive to strings...

Kenny how many hours would you say that you have on your set of CF in that month? I didn't think I was all that sensitive to string either, but I guess I have played with it freshly strung enough times to know when the difference starts to feel noticeable.

The Cyberflash I have in my racket now has lasted me 9 hours so far of pure match play and it's starting to "trampoline"

I used full CF for over a year. It went "dead" for me at either 4-5 hours or 2 weeks sitting on the shelf, whichever came first. I never had it on the racquet long enough to know if it "trampolined" :)

For a poly, I think 10-15 hours of hitting is excellent.

It's hard to believe the latter because polyester strings maintain tension rather well if they are not being played with. If you leave CF in a racket for 2 weeks, I highly doubt that it will go dead.

could even be that the syn gut is dead lolz
a full job of cyberflash 17 lasted me 15+ hours of doubles play before it broke... didn't really notice the trampoline effect at all

16+ hours?

i don't think any poly retains playability after 20 hours of hitting so what you are getting out of your cyberflash now is pretty much standard.
