One of my most recent racket finds is a Cando U999. It is a dark-green colored circa 1978 aluminum frame made by Kingtstone International Corporation. It is a fairly typical frame from the era, but it has a couple of features which are intriguing:

One feature is a nub at the butt of the racket, which, I assume, must be some type of anti-vibration device, like the T5000 had.

Another feature is a series of clips that are attached to the head of the frame. I can't figure out if this was designed to help protect the head from scrapes or perhaps a device so the user could alter the balance point of the frame, sort of like lead tape.

Any thoughts?

P.S. For some reason, I am not able to attach photos. If you're interested, please provide your e-mail address and I can send them to you.
