I've the read the book and it's very intriguing. There will be plenty of personal revelations about Agassi to keep you turning those pages. Read it now, you will not be disappointed.

It's good to read. The first part is essentially AA adopting a Holden Caulfield approach: my bad dad forced me to do tennis. It walks around a lot of his early Bolletieri academy stuff. The second part, once there's fame, is a good desciption of pro tennis life.

Whether you admire/agree with Agassi or not, it's a very good book and fun to read. Go for it.

Liked it. Got it for Christmas and finished it fast. My wife read it and also liked it.
The stuff that made headlines is almost an afterthought in the book. It's about so much more.

It was a good fast read for me. Very honest and I liked the style of it.

It was really good. Finished it in a few days. By the end of the book, you'll see Agassi does enjoy his life these days and appreciates things. Great page turner

Just finsihed the book; yes, I agree that "Open" is a good read, much better than Sampras' book I thought. (Strange that these 2 books should reflect the players' personalities; Andre's book was colourful and lively and fun, while Pete's was just plain "boring", factual but nonetheless informative). Both are good reads though, just different.
Something new I learnt from reading- it was Brad Gilbert who initated the split, and not Andre; I've always mistakenly thought that Andre "fired" brad to take up Cahill as a coach, but this was in fact not the case.
