Recently came into one of these for a great deal so I bought it, ordered a couple sets of grommets and strung it up - plays wonderfully but I can't seem to find much info on it.
With new Bumper/grommets, new grip, OG, Dampener and strings it weighs in at 12.39 ounces...

Feels a little bit stiff but definitely solid...
This is similar to the 6.1 classic except it's got a blue/gold colorway instead of the red/yellow colors...

Any thoughts?

I use to play with the 4.2. it is a stiff frame and can be jarring unless you go with a soft string. fantastic frame. i believe it to be better than any other wilson frame ever made.

do prostaff 6.0 95 grommets fit this racket? thanks in advanceNo chance; the 4.2 has a much thicker beam. I could imagine the 6.1 Classic grommets fitting, but I don't know for sure.

There has been at least one good thread on the PS 4.2 here. Ah... Here (http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=320588) we go.

Grommets for the PSC 6.1 95 fit perfectly, contact Wilson. Still own one. Btw, mine has a leather grip, weighs 12.9 oz.

The Pro Staff Classic 6.1 95 and the Pre Staff Classic 4.2 95 are the same mold. The Pro Staff 6.0 95 is different mold.

i played this racquet years ago and loved it. in my opinion it was extremely stiff. i believe their stiffness eclipsed 70RA, and was closer to 73/74. someone can correct me if i am wrong.....

Love this raqcquet! Used to play with it in high school, but switched to the 6.1s my senior year. Started playing tennis again after over a decade and picked up 4 of these. Definitely stiffer, but packs a good punch. Only thing I don't like is how the paint chips off of these compared to the 6.1s.

Man the prostaffs were manly racquets, i use to play with a prostaff 4.0 95.

Is this your main racquet?
