Could it be one of these?

hilariously hilarious

ok let's give him a break

Nadal uses Duralast painted to look like PHT
Tsonga uses Luxilon

There's a pro's gear section on the TW website, which lists what pros are supposedly using

I actually liked Sting...in the 80s!
Likewise Duralast is "history", I think both are using Babolat Prototype black string, different gauges...My theory!
Great Photos...Marshredder!

According to the AO tv coverage, Nadal and Tsonga are using a new experimental Babolat string not yet available to the public and as of yet not even named. Tsonga's is quite a bit a thinner gauge at about 1.25

i've been reading in this forum for a while now. in every thread there are members posting without being sure about what they write.

neither nadal nor tsonga use duralast oder hurricane anymore. nadal used to play duralast 1.35mm with around 24-25kg depending on the surface and weather conditions. nadal definitely plays new strings which are propably the new babolat stuff which will come out at the end of march. for tsonga it's the same.

nadal changed his game, he doesn't bend his knees that much anymore, he tries to play longer, he tries to stay near the service line, uses less top spin than he did years ago, and so on... that's why he changed strings.

what strings he uses isn't quite sure. but there's no way these are painted duralasts or hurricanes.

Wow, this is horribly ironic.

First you criticise people posting without knowing what they're talking about...

...then you say he's definatley not using Duralast, athough you dont know what he's using!

Its more likely to be Duralast that PHT Black, it has the same look etc.

The new string from Babolat is called RPM BLAST and is supposed to be available in February.

yes, they will have to hurry as the packaging is not even finished! This will be a rush job. It is RPM BLAST, can't get photos though of it from stringing room from Nadal's racquet because he is out! Still hoping for Tsonga photos as he is still in. I understand that a few still don't want to believe...
I am hoping a contact in the stringing room will risk a quick photo...
if not ...we will have to wait.

Raging, have you heard anything to do with the playability of the string, ie, is it a soft poly or a specific spin string? I've tried revenge with k gut crosses 2nite, nice
