Its fantastic to see how the pros are doing what they can to help out. My only question is will they auction off the real PJ'ed racquets they play with or did the sponsoring companies give them the current versions for this? :)

for something like this it will be the real thing. good to see the tennis world is doing so much, more than football (soccer) anyway. I liked how federer, djokovic, nadal, hewitt, roddick and so many others did that hit but was disapointed murray didnt make an apperance

$1,781 not bad for the Nadal's new racquet- especially since TW doesn't have yet-

Fed's and Nadals almost at $2k- Clist and Novak- just above $500

If they really wanted to help, each and every of the multi-million-$-pros would just take anything between $100,000 and $1,000,000 dollars and give it for Haiti.

Too bid these bids aren't tax deductible, otherwise I might actually throw a bid in there =(

That's great to hear! I was thinking that Fed would have given a lot. He always seems very generous.

Where did you hear that?

Fed will probably give a K90 for the auction.

They should be tax deductible as a charitable donation, for sure. I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't be. :) Someone was telling me today, that they heard something about donations made to the Haiti relief effort can be applied as a deduction on the 2009 tax year when you file by April 15th, 2010.

Fed's up to over $13k. While Nadal's only at $6k. That shows whose most popular.

Its not about popularity as its people payin for the greatest player of all times tennis racket. They are not realy that bothered about the rackets just a interesting way to give there money
