I hear of people stringing in high 60's to 70's what are the effects of going over recomended tension?

I hear of people stringing in high 60's to 70's what are the effects of going over recomended tension?

More likelyhood of tennis elbow, esp. with lux, stiff frames, heavy frames, and more cracked frames stringing, esp. if the stringer does not care about the oblique angle pulls near the top and bottom of frame. Quicker string breakage, stiffer string bed, can be fewer balls out, less touch, higher frequency of noise and string bed, lower stick life/string life. Warranty out the window. Check reviews of string for tennis elbow for that string and multiply by a factor of 1.5.

It's much healthier(for your arm) to learn to use more spin(ie. faster racket head speed) to control the ball. How do you think that better players can string at lower tensions but still keep the ball in?

I know this guy who's a 5.0+ player who strings his prostaff 6.1 at 70lbs and hits really hard- I string my racquet at 60-63 top of the range is 65- but I like a string bed that offers control

Phenomenal special effects if you're a racquet thrower!
