Do any of you remember if there ever was a slogan for Rossignol tennis racquets? Preferably in French or English. Thanks!

In English for the USA it was "Rossignol The New Power In Tennis"

Thanks, I knew I could count on you, vsbabolat!

Surely there must be more slogans? Don't be shy, people.

How about 'If you have a chicken on your racket, you must be pretty good!' :)

Hey Coachrick - chickens rock!

I had a T shirt that I wore until it fell to pieces with the Rossignol chicken and in French

"Rossignol - la nouvelle force en tennis".

Yeah, I have trouble getting away from those 'yard birds'! :)

I was a rep for Rossi in '79-'80 and did a stint with Le Coq Sportif in 1990.

In 1979, the southeastern US didn't know the name Rossignol...not too much snow down that way. People saw the 'chicken' on the rackets and figured "Rossignol" must be French for 'rooster'!!! Either that or they thought it was the name of a sausage! Ah, the good old days!

A tennis playing ski bum buddy of mine in the mid-1980's had a T-shirt with the cheeky slogan:

"Give Me Rossignol, or Give Me Head."

The local tennis club wouldn't permit him to wear it on site.

Not bad, but not Rossignol's own I assume?

So the slogan vsbabolat mentioned was the same in French, then.

Yes, probably only a little better than something like, "Rossignol - the coq for your balls"

...in some early 80s european magazines, you could also find
"Rossignol effect" (referring to Wilander's first French Open victory);

another one was
"the racquet itself doesn't make a champion; but Rossignol gives you
seriously a hand"...

I sure can feel the Rossignol effect when I play, but sadly I'm still far from winning at Roland Garros...
