I have been feeling sick all day, and i have had a huge loss of appetite, and did not eat anything all day until about 6:30 pm. Also, i was in bed until about 5 to 5:30 pm. I was wondering, will i gain weight because of eating so little? I am asking this because i have been losing weight, and i have read alot that not eating can make you gain weight. But how can i eat when i feel like crap, and have abosolutely no appetite? Even the food i ate did not taste very good today, and on normal days its one of my favorites. I didnt even finish it all!.

So do i have a reason to be paranoid of gaining fat/weight?

BTW, is it a good idea to do cardio/weightlifting workouts when you feel sick?

You need to eat especially if you are sick and if you have already lost weight, what are you worried about. Shouldn't your sickness be very temporary anyway.

If you are as sick as you say you are, do no workout. You can workout with a cold or some minor stuff but if its major you could put your body through to much and you could die.

Yup.

I also make it a point to lift extra heavy whenever I have the flu or a high fever.

It is also an excellent time consider running a marathon.
