Need help identifying wooden racquet, tension range, etc

Found an old wooden racquet in my girlfriends garage, and i have no idea what it is

what i do know is that its a 20 main x 21 cross, and was strung as a two piece job

says Multyply Super on the throat and Scientifically Made further down the handle, see pictures

and im just wondering wth this racquet is and what the tension range for it would be(i definitely want to string this baby up and take it for a spin)

any information would be appreciated

Looks like someone tried to do a (poor) imitation of a Dunlop Maxply.

Generally speaking, if a racquet doesn't have a manufacturer's name on it somewhere, it's of little consequence - there were quite a number of racquets like that over the years.

yea after looking at some maxply pictures that seems pretty clear

so is it not even worth it to restring this racquet and have some fun with it?

Not necessarily - it might play very nicely and at the very least, help you improve your technique. But it won't be worth anything, that's all. :)

And to the question about it being warped, it isn't as far as I can tell

I wouldn't pull it tighter than 60. Most rackets in that era recommended 55...

Johnny Mac switched from that general range (52-60) down to the mid-30's - Lendl was the first "top 10" guy to string that low.

Endgame recommendation: 55 will give you a "realistic" feel for the era.

But seriously, if you do restring it I wouldn't go over 55 lbs. And don't waste your money on expensive strings either.

You don't have a shot of the whole frame, I was wondering if it has the darker wood insert (not sure what it is called) like the Maxply Fort just above the grip?
