Hi guys,

i m looking for a back up racquet.
i am using Yonex RD-7.
thinking about getting the RD Power 6 long (27.5)

any suggestions or comments about the RD Power 6 long?
how are its specs compared to the RD-7?
is it head light?

thanks,
:p

If you get a backup racket, i suggest getting the same one. If you pop your strings or something, you have a fairly identical one to fall on. Plus its not the best idea for your game to mess around with different rackets. Its best to stick to one at a time.

It sounds like no matter what you will get your hands on the RD Power 6. So my only advice is ****!!

Hey fellow RD-7 user.

Too bad Yonex does not make the RD-7 any longer, but I found the TT Warrior to be a good alternative, considering the cheap price. I leaded it up following gmlasam's "customizing tt warrior thread" and it plays great!! The TT Warrior is a longbody, 27.5.

Have you tried doing a search on tenniswarehouse racquet finder? I understand you can enter the specs and do a comparative search. If you don't find something, it might be an idea to rent the movie 'Star Trek, In Search of Spock" Albeit something being found. Good luck
