Which of the following frame designs would be less demanding/more forgiving:
A. One with most its flexibility in the throat/shaft,
B. or, one with most of its flexibility in the head/hoop?
Pls give reasons for your opinion.
Pls cite examples of frames fitting Category A and Category B.

I think it's more a feel issue. a.) Yonex; b.) Wilson Pro Staff series.

If you hit the ball high in the string bed a frame that is stiff at the tip is going to be more forgiving, IMO, because you will still get a decent hit. One that is very flexible will be dead and the ball will fall short. Check your pattern of ball fuzz on the strings and see where you are hitting the ball.

If I wanted a firm hoop, might I favor frames with thicker beam widths in the head? If so, TW states beam widths from ... shaft to head (unless otherwise specified)?
